Yes, comments can all be deleted by the site owner. If you have WordPress, you can do so by logging in and then navigating to Dashboard -> Comments.

I'm wondering if I'm able to delete comments of people who don't actually "reply" to the post... I mean they're not technically "spam" like that one there... but they're not really contibuting to the discussion at all, you know??
